About Me

Hi! I 'm the owner and curriculum director of Austin Stay n Play. I earned a Master's in Education in 2009 and a Bachelor's in Business Management in 2005. I'm  a certified elementary teacher and certified in English as a second language. My teaching philosophy comes from my belief that children learn best when they are actively engaged and have time to reflect on what they learn.  Positive feedback and reinforcement are key essentials in children’s learning.  Throughout my career I have gained  experience in working with children of all ages pre-k through 5th grade.
